Avocado Prep Tools

Avocado Prep Tools is a collection of kitchen accessories designed for Cookduo, focused on simplifying the preparation, storage, and handling of avocados through specialized functional tools. The line was developed around common user frustrations, creating purpose-built solutions for each stage of avocado use.

The collection includes the Avocado Vault, an airtight avocado saver with a locking latch designed to help preserve cut avocados for longer storage. The Avocado Gripper assists with safely removing avocado pits, while the Avocado Ripe & Keep container is designed to help ripen up to two avocados using a controlled enclosed environment inspired by the traditional paper bag method.

Additional tools in the line include the Avocado Cut and Scoop, featuring a concealed blade integrated into the handle for cutting and slicing, paired with an oversized scoop for removing the fruit efficiently. The Avocado Brush and Scrape combines a cleaning brush with an integrated scraper for removing stems and produce stickers before preparation.

The project focused on creating intuitive, easy-to-clean kitchen tools with clear functional purpose, combining ergonomic usability with playful, category-specific product design.
