Air Trivet

Silicone Air Trivet was designed for Cookduo as a multifunctional kitchen accessory that rethinks the traditional trivet through material and structural innovation. The design features integrated air channels molded directly into the silicone body, creating built-in cushioning and improved heat insulation between hot cookware and countertop surfaces.

The air tube construction helps reduce heat transfer while adding flexibility and comfort during handling. In addition to functioning as a countertop trivet, the product can also be used as a pot holder for safely gripping hot cookware during cooking and serving. The non-porous silicone construction is durable, easy to clean, and well suited for everyday kitchen use.

The project designed by DesignOther focused on combining heat protection, comfort, and multifunctionality into a simple, minimal form designed for modern kitchen environments.
