Bombay Sapphire Take Two martini glass concept product design by DesignOther New York

Designed for Bombay Sapphire as a concept submission for their design competition, the Take Two martini glass explored a playful reinterpretation of traditional cocktail glassware. The design was selected as one of the competition finalists and later showcased as part of a New York exhibition.

The glass features a unique dual-orientation form that allows it to be flipped over and reused for the next drink, creating a sculptural object with two functional serving positions. The concept focused on interaction, conversation, and rethinking the ritual of serving cocktails through form and usability.

A small series of handcrafted glass prototypes were produced in Portland, Oregon by an artisan glass blower for exhibition and presentation. The project combines experimental form development with traditional glassmaking craftsmanship, resulting in a functional object that blurs the line between product design and sculptural art.
